Max Intel: Melinoe
Chapter 21 - Imperfect

Joon didn't remember leaving the stage...She just found herself sitting in front of the digital reflection screen in the dressing room. Agatha was beside her, holding her hand, smiling fondly at her.

Joon blinked, turning her head to Agatha. "That did happen, right?"

Agatha beamed a smile, "Yes, Mistress, you were sensational."

Still in a post-performance daze, Joon smiled softly. "Let me know when it's quieted down out there, I'm going to need Max."

"Of course, Mistress." Agatha blinked, "Oh, she's on her way."

Within moments Max was there, Joon stood up and pointed at the stool she just vacated. Max immediately sat and crossed her long legs and the petite woman straddled Max's thighs, draping herself in Max's arms. Joon closed her eyes and laid her head on Max's shoulder as Max gently rubbed Joons back, easing all the stress out of her little wife.

*Is she alright?*
Agatha inquired silently.

Max smiled,
*Oh yes, she's just fine, this is our ritual after a big performance.*

Agatha nodded in understanding,
*I didn't feel her in distress, she was quite elated.*

*I think this is just a cooling down thing, like walking for a while after a run.*
Max winked.

After about five or so minutes of the gentle massage, Joon sat up. She looked Max in the eyes, "Did that go as well as I think it did?"

Max smirked, "Maybe even better."

Joon nodded, she turned to Agatha, "Is the house still full?"

Agatha reported, "The auditorium has emptied, the public audience who remain nearby have congregated in the lobby. However, our family and those of Ambassador Zess are still within the auditorium." Agatha concluded.

Joon smiled and nodded to Agatha, she then turned to Max. "I'm not sure how much longer I can stay awake, you might need to carry me back to the Deirdre."

Max smirked, "I think I remember how."

Joon kissed her handsome Dame.

"Okay... I'm ready to face my public execution."

Agatha raised her eyebrows then shared a look with Max.

*She's fine, I swear.*
thought Max, adding a wink.

Joon led the way back out to the auditorium. Max and Agatha followed carrying instruments in armored cases. Zess spotted Joon the moment she opened the backstage door and stepped out.

The Dauzakai Ambassador leapt to her feet and charged Joon, wrapping her in an embrace.

Joon reciprocated, causing Paula to blink, she was stunned at the display of affection between Ambassadors.

"Joooon!" Zess sang, "Thiss was far beyond my expectationss!"

The pair soon stood belly to belly chatting about audience reaction, how the Dauzakai holo-net and cyber-net had blown up over the performance. Apparently, a number of those in the audience had live-streamed to social media.

Joon glanced at who was around her. Max, Agatha, Astrid, Vika, Samira and Paula...Also Miku, Nomissa, Ness, Vess and Itumii; all of whom were quite excited about the performance, praising the entire production.

Joon cleared her throat, gaining the attention of family and friends. "I would like to thank Ambassador Zess and Director Itumii for allowing me this opportunity." Zess and Joon let their embrace shift into a stance of friendly arms around each other's waists.

Paula observed the behavior in amazement but kept her expression neutral.

Itumii bowed to Joon and Zess, "You are mosst welcome to vissit thiss ampitheater anytime you wish, your Excellency."

Zess beamed a smile at the small Director. Then Joon yawned... She blushed and apologized profusely.

Zess hugged her again, "Go and get ssome resst... We will chat later."

The two families bid Itumii farewell and departed the amphitheater in different directions. Max scooped up Joon who embraced her towering wife while Agatha and 'Una' each carried an armored instrument case.

Astrid assembled her small flock of holo-projection drones and she had them follow her in tight formation. The HD remotes were nestled in the backpack docking station she wore. Samira carried the special chair again, assisting Astrid with her other two arms while Paula and Vika held each other's hands, sharing a smile and Dame Captain Max carefully carried her drowsy Lady-wife in her arms, letting Joon lay her head on a broad shoulder.

Joon nodded off while her family quietly departed the amphitheater through a side door.

Agatha led them with uncanny accuracy through the twisting alleys and along narrow terraces threading the most direct and expedient route to the Deirdre. The cargo bay loading ramp had just finished deploying as they entered the narrow and untidy dock. Agatha surmised the landing bay was designed for freight, she doubted anyone might suggest it was improper.

Currently the Deirdre did not look out of place, however, the family's newest spouse was taking all of these new unexpected parameters in stride. As the crew boarded their tiny warship Paula asked no one in particular if they considered refinishing the exterior of the corvette.

The giggles in response brought a confused expression to Paula's face. Astrid explained, "The current exterior is called 'Tramp Debris'; it is my own composition and can be refashioned with the tap of a key."

Paula blinked, "Oh... Well, nevermind, I was completely fooled!"

Astrid beamed a smile, "Don't worry, I take it as a sincere compliment of my efforts."

Paula nodded, "I should have guessed: this group is so full of surprises."

Vika pulled Paula down for a smooch. "I will show you our home, Moya Zayka."

The crew went in different directions, everyone felt the corvette's engines hum to life. Max carried Joon to the CQ giving Agatha a glance, who nodded in return with a smile. The tall Captain, with Agatha's help, stripped their half-asleep Lady-wife down.

Max tucked Joon and Agatha under the duvet, kissing them both on the forehead after which Agatha cuddled up to Joon, spooning her petite Mistress.

Max nodded with a smile, leaving the CQ and walking up to the bridge. There was only one Hand of Agatha on the bridge: she was at the helm, so Max slid into navigation, glancing over at her exotic wife. The Deirdre was flying in formation with the now familiar Dauzakai shuttle.

"Does the shuttle have a name?" Max inquired.

Agatha replied, "Other than the designation 'Terran Diplomatic Ship' with an alphanumeric code, it does not."

Max pursed her lips, "We should think on it... Or ask Joon."

Agatha giggled.

"Back to the Castle." Max glanced at Agatha.

"Sakima-sadi-Misimi here we come!" Agatha nodded with a smile.

Vika walked slowly as Paula took in the details of the tour. They had started with the cargo hold then went through storage areas along the rampwells. They then went up into the tactical briefing room where Vika showed her the hologrid topographical display, glossing over the breaching boom.

Paula stared at Vika, "That's not standard... What is it for?"

"It is specifically designed for covert boarding..." Vika did not elaborate.

Paula raised an eyebrow and said under her breath. "Oh my."

"Our beloved Captain-wife is highly trained." Vika nodded.

The couple continued up to the main deck. Vika pointed at the armory hatch, "All firearms are in there, only Sam can carry all the time."

Paula nodded, "I'm surprised she doesn't."

Vika grinned, "She does."

"She does?" Paula looked confused.

Vika nodded, "Yes."

She pointed across the corridor, "Pantry... Dry and frozen provisions." Vika took a few steps and opened the hatch to the CQ adjacent to the armory. She and Paula peered in.

They saw a sleeping Joon with Agatha tucked in behind her. Agatha opened her eyes and put a finger to her lips and they both nodded in acknowledgement.

Agatha wiggled her fingers and Vika and Paula waved, stepping back and closing the door.

"Agatha is very caring." Vika commented.

Paula nodded, "She is."

They continued into the Mess-Galley-Dining compartment.

"Would you like tea, or coffee?" Vika asked.

Paula smiled, "No, thank you."

A Hand of Agatha waved from the Galley Kitchen, and they waved back. Vika walked them back out into the corridor, then right into Engineering. Astrid was seated at her workbench, tapping through a series of screens from Joon's performance while Samira and Agatha were carefully crating the projector drones, making sure they were safely stored.

The bronze Dauzakai design incorporated a collapsing spring assembly that had to have the tension carefully reduced for storage. Sam could manage it by herself with four hands, but Agatha had to show her how it needed to be done.

Vika and Paula stood at the doorway. "How goes it, Sorceress?" Vika asked.

Astrid turned her head and smiled over her shoulder, "Oh, it's a challenge!"

Vika frowned playfully, "Are you saying it is too difficult?"

She turned on her shop-stool, giving Vika a searching look. Astrid blinked, "Are you trying to goad me in front of Paula, you little meanie?"

Samira and Agatha instantly stopped to witness the playful banter.

Vika stepped into the compartment, walking slowly, and smiled as she spoke, "I would understand if this was too difficult, it may be beyond you to make five go into six, yes?"

The diminutive redhead broke into a mischievous smile then and quickly raised an eyebrow and brought an extended pinky to pursed lips. Vika's pantomimed comically evil expression brought smiles to Samira and Agatha.

Astrid blinked, then narrowed her eyes with a grin, "Ah... I see your strategy."

"Hahaha!" Astrid laughed dramatically then stood and posed heroically, "I have dismissed that disaster with my layered enhancing algorithms! You can focus on any of the performances in better than eight kay definition. I will not be denied!"

Vika, Samira and Agatha applauded... Astrid took a bow.

Paula looked at Sam and Agatha, her expression was confused so Samira smiled at Paula, "Have you been initiated into the fantasy realm?"

Paula's lips thinned, "That's the Witch thing, right?"

"Oh yes, it is very important, we all have a part to play!" Samira reached out with a hand.

Vika leaned back against the tall Engineer, smiling.

Paula's mis-matched eyes glanced around the room...She nodded and placed her hand into Samira's.

For five minutes Samira summarized the capabilities and advantages of the Witch Class. Samira focused on how subtle buffs could improve performance for most situations. Then she noted the possible combinations when a Shaman and a Witch worked in concert.

Samira touched on all of the Adventurer Classes, denoting the types and roles they fulfilled in a party. By the end of the short lecture, Paula felt surprisingly empowered by Samira's blandishments.

"I was unaware..." Paula smiled, "I will do my utmost to bolster the party."

Astrid and Vika gave quiet applause, and Agatha squealed softly.

"I just realized," Astrid pouted, "that Sorcerer isn't a Player Class."

Samira shook her head slightly, attempting to clarify "Sorcerer, Enchanter and Artificer are all basically synonymous. They're Crafting Classes, using magic to create and or enhance weapons, armor, and various objects." Samira smiled at her platinum-blonde love.

Astrid pouted, "I don't want to be a Non-Player Character."

Samira strode directly to Astrid's side and Vika shifted quickly back to Paula, putting an arm around her waist.

"You're not listening, my dear Astrid..." Samira began, "Crafting and Adventuring Classes are not mutually exclusive."

Astrid blinked, her jaw dropped open, "So... I can choose an Adventuring Class in addition to Sorceress?"

Samira nodded, raising an eyebrow. "Damn right, you can."

Astrid bit her lip, "We're going to discuss this at length when I am done with the holo-vid, mark my words Sam."

The cyborg smiled broadly, "I can hardly wait."

The Deirdre reduced its velocity and made its approach once again to the carved grotto-hanger above Sakima-sadi-Misimi. The shuttle took up station and waited for the warship to land first. In only a few minutes, the shuttle followed suit.

Agatha went through shutdown procedures as Max observed the shuttle, "I want you to have a good tactical kit for the two Hands we leave behind."

Agatha looked at Max with endearment, "Yes, Captain."

A few moments passed and Max looked at Agatha.

"You were going to do that anyways." Max reflected.

"Yes, Captain." Agatha grinned.

Footsteps caught Max's attention, she turned to see Vika and Paula stepping onto the bridge. Max smiled, "Hello there, how goes the tour?"

Paula nodded and smiled. Vika said, "I want you to show Paula the guest cabin."

Paula didn't show any reaction, but Max did, her eyes went wide. "Ah... I see," Max stood up from navigation, giving Vika a questioning look.

Vika raised her eyebrow, "Is there need to wait?"

Paula glanced at Agatha who gave her a thumbs up. Max swallowed, "I suppose not... as long as you're alright with it, Paula."

Paula's eyes snapped back to Max, she nodded quickly, "Fine, just fine."

Vika walked over to navigation then sat on the couch Max had just vacated unmindful of the fact Max and Paula shared a nervous glance. "This way." Max gestured up to the quarterdeck.

When the two uniformed Terrans left the bridge Agatha muttered softly, "That was kind of mean."

Vika nodded, "They both need it...Calm them down."

"I could have done that." Agatha responded.

Vika smirked, "Max has vanilla smoothie."

Agatha giggled, "True."

Samira gave Agatha a searching look and Agatha smiled. They both glanced at Astrid who was hard at work on the music holo-vid. Samira pursed her lips in thought as Agatha pulled the next drone over in front of her, then tilted her head.

The silent conversation was via Samira's wetware and encrypted link to Agatha at the comms hub.

Samira shrugged as she used all four of her hands to make the drone compact and safe for storage.

Agatha blinked and then smiled. Samira turned and stared at Agatha. "I'll bring up the possibility, but I would never pressure her to do that, it's a very personal choice." Samira whispered out loud.

"Yes, of course it is..." Agatha nodded, "It was only a suggestion... from Joon."

Samira blinked, "She's awake?"

"No." Agatha grinned.

Golden eyes went wide as Samira realized the implications.

She finished crating the last drone. Samira looked over her shoulder back at Astrid, studying the pale-blonde hair, high cheekbones, and slim athletic build; Samira sighed softly.

Agatha laid her hand on Samira's. Samira turned to share a look with Agatha, they both nodded and smiled.

Agatha walked down the stark corridor. Her footsteps echoed off the native stone. Yzix's extensive interview had concluded without incident. Agatha had just returned her prisoner to his cell and fed him.

It wasn't a lavish meal, but Teffa said it was more than adequate.

Agatha contemplated the Slarmian Police Inspector. She knew Yzix had returned to the office she'd lent him, and his emotions were turbulent. The interview had started predictably, Yzix was methodical and very patient.

In just a few minutes he managed to strip Durx of any hope of deliverance. Yzix's mastery of explanation and expression painted a very grim picture. The terminal ultimatum gave Durx no sense of hope, and Yzix exploited it ruthlessly.

Agatha had indeed learned a great deal from the interviews, she absorbed them in minute detail. She was certain Yzix was composing his report, collating all the information Durx had given. Yzix was able to refer to the recordings at need, double checking the many names...and positions.

Agatha was sure it would soon be very busy in both the Staverka Police Commision and the GSD Naval Command. Durx confessed he did not know all the members of Blackdawn, but he knew those who did; and she was sure Yzix was making plans to pursue all leads.

Agatha knocked lightly on the door of the office, she heard Yzix bidding entrance. She opened the door and popped her head in. "How did it go, Inspector?"

Yzix smiled weakly, and waved Agatha inside, "Splendid! you intimidated Durx greatly."

Agatha curtsied, "I have my moments."

"I trust you have seen the recording of the interview?" Yzix asked, a tremor in his voice.

Agatha nodded, "I caught a few minutes of it, will those names be enough?"

The Inspector's sharp yellow eyes narrowed.

"If half of the information is accurate... It will turn Staverka upside down." Yzix inhaled, "I am going to show what I have to Polkovnik Emuzi, then implore her to initiate a restricted exigent ministerial assembly."

Agatha's eyebrows raised, "Why?"

Yzix sighed, "It's the only way to get all of our authorities on the same page... Without leaks."

Agatha tilted her head, "Leaks to whom?"

Yzix clenched his jaws, "Parliament."

Max led Paula into the guest quarters. "This used to be the captain's cabin, I prefer the crew quarters." Max smiled trying to lighten the mood.

Paula stood with no expression on her face, noting the features of the cabin.

"So, um." Max started, "Where are you from?"

Paula did her almost smile, "Pamplona."

Max blinked.

Paula continued, "Spain."

Max blinked again.

"Terra." Paula raised an eyebrow.

Max nodded and smiled, "I've been there..."

"What part?" Paula looked curious.

Max thought for a second, "Hellnar."

"Ah," Paula nodded, "Not too far away from Pamplona."

"Where are you from?" Paula glanced up at Max.

"Ostigrad City." Max responded.

Paula returned a blank expression, giving Max a little relief from not knowing where Pamplona was.

"Galon Prime." Max concluded.

Paula nodded, her lips thinning slightly. Galon Prime didn't have a lot going for it, besides, Max identified much more with Jericho.

Max glanced at the long bed, "Would you like to sit?"

Paula's lips thinned, "Dame Captain."

"Max." Max replied.

"Yes, Ma'am." Paula nodded, "I believe that Vika had the best of intentions on bringing about this particular interaction at this time. You and I are both officers, I will of course do what needs to be done, for the sake of the Family." Paula continued: "However if this isn't a time in which all parties concerned are not represented in a flattering light, then it shouldn't be a great loss with the temporary situation. I am sure you can see my point of view, Dame Captain."

"Max." Max gently corrected.

"Yes, Ma'am." Paula seemed to be trying to find a logical way to approach avoiding the subject.

Paula took a breath and continued, "I would understand if what is about to occur didn't occur simply because I was found...wanting."

Max blinked, raised a finger to interject, but Paula didn't see the digit and kept going.

"Vika was very sure that I would be just fine, but I worry as I am so much older, and perhaps that might be grounds for disqualification. The kindness and welcome I have felt, especially during the dream party, well, they are simply more profound than anything in my life. I really want to make Vika happy, but I understand if some things cannot be helped. She really is a simply wonderful girl, and I would hate to disappoint her."

Paula paused.

"Are you finished?" Max asked.

Paula bit her lower lip, "Yes, Dame Captain."

"Max." Max corrected again, this time with a smile.

"Yes, Ma'am." Paula looked down.

"Please, say my name." Max requested softly.

Paula took a deep breath... "Max."

"See, not so difficult?" Max smiled as she sat on the long bed and patted the edge.

Paula's eyes grew briefly, then she slowly moved and sat.

"Not very long ago... I was just a Marine Sergeant." Max said, looking into Paula's whimsical mis-matched eyes.

"I remember Joon saying that." Paula replied.

Max smiled, "Am I so scary?"

Paula's brow creased, "This isn't as easy as it was in the dream."

Max smiled, "We had our 'supervisors' there, directing us."

Paula smiled softly and Max put out her hand. Paula glanced at it, then slowly put her much smaller hand into it.

"I will never pressure you to do anything you don't want to do." Max said softly.

Paula focused on soft-brown eyes while she listened.

"I want to... Do it... I just don't want you to think less of me." Paula confessed.

"I would never think that." Then Max asked, "What would you like right now?"

Paula bit her lip and whispered, "I want a vanilla smoothie."

"Do you want it quick, or take your time with it?" Max inquired with a raised eyebrow.

Paula blinked, "I... I want to be efficient and expedient... But... I don't want to offer insult by doing so."

Max smiled, she squeezed Paula's hand.

"How about, you can do whatever you want when we are alone, I won't say a word about it."

Paula thought about the offer then nodded, "I would appreciate that."

"Tell me what you would like me to do." Max smiled.

Paula thought about it, then looked around. Before long, she decided what she wanted. "If you would stand in front of me... right here?" Paula asked meekly, pointing at the deck.

Max smiled and nodded, she stood, then moved as requested within arm's length in front of Paula, who still sat on the bed.

Paula looked up at the tall woman in the space-black uniform.

"Just how tall are you?" Paula asked.

Max smirked, "Two meters."

Paula's eyebrows rose, "Oh my."

"Agatha added seven centimeters when she 'repaired' me." Max nodded and smiled.

Paula examined Max's apparel closely, "I really like your uniform, it's dashing."

"Would you like to wear one just like it?" Max asked earnestly.

Paula thought about it, "It's tempting, but my wearing TFN greys lends her Excellency legitimacy.

Max blinked, "Oh, yes, you're absolutely right... Now I am rethinking my uniform choice."

"Oh, I wouldn't change a thing," Paula commented with a slight grin, "You are an independent Captain, after all."

Max nodded, "Alright, I can see that."

"May I?" Paula asked, raising her hand.

Max smiled, "Please do."

Paula ran the palm of her hand slowly over Max's thigh, she bit her lip, "You feel strong."

Max smiled, "Would you like me to undress?"

Paula's cheeks colored, "No, no... I will see you nude soon enough. I have a question, before we get too far along." Paula said with some apprehension.

Max smiled, "Ask away."

"If I manage to succeed," She grinned at the word, "With this fellatio: will it affect your... Other parts?"

Max grinned, "Well... They are two separate systems, but there is definitely some overlap when I get excited.

That answer seemed to satisfy and embolden the Lieutenant. She looked up again, then moved her hand to the slight bulge between Max's thighs. Max moaned softly as she willed her member to life.

Paula opened the tailored jacket and carefully unsealed the front portion of the trousers. She slipped her hand inside, cupping fingers around Max's stiffening member still shrouded in her grey 'boy shorts' panties.

Paula studied Max's face as she gently gripped and kneaded the Dame Captain's member. The response was very encouraging for Paula, and she became more enthusiastic. Paula got both her hands involved, working the eighteen-centimeter penis out into view.

"Oh..." Paula's eyes widened.

The phallus throbbed in her hands.

"It's so warm." She muttered.

Max had closed her eyes, enjoying Paula's touch and the Lieutenant began to gently stroke the hardening cock.

Max moaned.

Paula watched the tall woman's face, taking note of the trusting, closed eyes, and the smile on her lips.

"Look into my eyes, please." Paula softly directed.

Max did so, Paula slowly leaned forward, staring up at her fiancée... Parting her full lips and easing them around the head of Max's sensitive cock.

Max's breath shuddered and Paula enjoyed the unmistakable pleasure in those soft-brown eyes.

A gentle tongue lashed at the underside of the engorged glans and Paula continued this until Max's heavy breathing turned ragged. Then she slowly worked her way down the entire length, continuing to stare up at her tall lover.

When she stopped with her nose pressed into the space-black fabric she felt a heavy throbbing as Max unloaded into her mouth, filling the back of her throat.

Paula swallowed over and over, never blinking...Her eyes dilated hugely, tears streamed from the corners of her eyes.

Rich creamy vanilla overloaded her senses, yet she never wavered.

Her reddish-brown and yellowish-green orbs held fast, locked on to Max's face and expressing a deep commitment to her new wife without uttering a single word.

Max somehow stood steady, with barely a sway. She could feel her toes curl inside her boots as she came hard into Paula's mouth and, with each pulse, Max grunted softly until she was spent.

Paula slowly eased back up the shaft, finally blinking, smiling around the sensitive head.

"That. Was. Amazing." Max panted. "I thought..."

Max was interrupted, as Paula read her new spouse's train of thought.

"I have done a lot of detailed research and practice on my dildos over the last few decades. All while weaving detailed fantasies in my imagination." Paula related, followed by a swallow and reflexive lip lick.

Her eyes were still dilated, and she continued to stare at Max. Paula grinned, "I never thought I would ever get the chance to do that to another person. I couldn't chance becoming close to anyone, not until...The dream-party opened my heart and gave me confidence to try." Paula commented.

Max beamed a smile. Paula relinquished control of Max's softening member and Max gingerly tucked it back into her panties with a soft moan, Paula carefully resealed the fly. The tall, caramel-complected Dame Captain eased onto the bed, sitting closely to the Lieutenant.

"Now... Dear Paula," Max leaned close and smiled. "Please, kiss me."

Paula happily complied.

Agatha eased the desk into place with her three Hands in the newly rearranged corner of the medical bay.

She spent fifteen minutes reorganizing and shifting most everything in the compartment.

The second desk was placed in line with the first with enough space between them for occupants to enter and exit. The Medical scanner was up against the far bulkhead, there was just enough space to utilize it. It wasn't a perfect solution, but if Joon was accepting of it, it would allow her and Paula to work together easily.

Agatha calculated a seventy eight percent chance that Jooniper would want Paula close at hand. She deftly connected and tested the additional comdesk. Agatha felt a new paramount dynamic by adding Paula. The solidity and balance of the family was now exceptional. Thoughts of the possibilities that soon could be a reality brought a smile to her face. Agatha nodded as the new comdesk was ready.

While she was rearranging furniture in the Medical bay, Agatha was also doing other things: cuddling up with her Mistress who was stirring from her nap, shifting Paula and Vika's luggage from the shuttle to the Deirdre, gathering up two sets of armor and nanoweave from the Deirdre's Armory, preparing apparel for two Hands remaining on Dau, cataloging, cleaning and properly storing recently acquired firearms in the Armory on Staverka, and continuing to teach Teffa Terran, while learning traditional Slarmian cooking.

Helping her family in so many ways made the being known as Agatha feel very good. She couldn't think of anything she would rather do.

Joon opened her eyes. She yawned and stretched, getting a soft smooch from her favorite Agatha. "Hey, sweetheart," Joon shifted to face her.

Agatha nuzzled Joon's neck, "Restful nap, Mistress?"

"Mmm hmm." Joon responded happily.

Joon glanced at Agatha, who pulled back and shared a look with her.

"Okay, did you confer with Samira and tell me about it while I was sleeping?" Joon blinked.

Agatha nodded, "Yes, Mistress... You inquired if Astrid would consider cybernetic wetware."

"Holy shit, that was rude of me..." Joon cringed, and inquired further, "Did you ask her?"

"I asked Samira, not Astrid." Agatha confirmed.

Joon looked relieved, "Okay, good... I will be the responsible XO and get her feelings on it. You are confident you can implant them without surgery?" Joon peered at Agatha.

Agatha nodded affirmatively, "Absolutely, I can shape her body around any implant, with no recovery time... it would be like she always had them."

Joon stared in amazement, "You make it sound so tempting."

Agatha tilted her head slightly, "I could easily upgrade everyone but Samira with Dauzakai wetware, Mistress."

Joon stared, "We are going to have to have a meeting about that... But see if you can get the very best gear first."

Agatha nodded, "I shall inquire with Nomissa and begin preparations."

Joon looked into thin air, "Heh... Wetware."

A few minutes passed...

"Agatha?" Joon asked, still cuddled with her.

"Yes, Mistress?" Agatha happily complied.

"Did Max and Paula go at it yet?" The petite senior wife inquired.

"I suspect so, Max found something very enjoyable with Paula in the guest cabin." Agatha turned her head and regarded Joon, "I am also now receiving data from Paula."

"Is that enough for you to start armoring her?" Joon shifted her grass-green eyes to Agatha.

She nodded, "I have already begun, when she is at rest, I can do much more."

Joon added, "And the more Max pumps into her, the better?"

Agatha replied, "With the changes she requested, she will be able to reach her peak efficiency with point eight liters."

Joon glanced at her, "That's an unexpectedly precise estimate."

"I have gotten a great deal of data since I started improving my family. It also helps that I am able to get continuous feedback." Agatha softly reported.

Joon smiled, "Do you feel invested?"

"Mistress?" Agatha inquired.

"Are you investing in us when you change us like this?" Joon looked at Agatha searching her eyes.

Agatha's lips thinned, "Would it be bad if I were?"

Joon gazed fondly into those silver eyes, "I suppose not, but I've never seen you angry, I have a feeling if something were to happen to one of us... You might lose your shit."

Agatha thought about it... "Ruthless Goddess of Chaos again?"

Joon nodded.

Agatha hugged her, "If I ever find myself angry, I shall ask your advice as to what I should do about it."

Joon smiled at Agatha, "I suppose that will have to suffice, I want you to feel free to make your own decisions."

"I love every one of my wives," Agatha began, "Investing in them, as you described, seems the best way I can keep them safe from harm without restricting their freedom." Joon listened while Agatha continued, "Armor is a foundation for what I wish for my family. You have seen some of the 'improvements' I have already made, and I intend to do more as I digest the Lessons of Dau."

Joon blinked, "Oh, that sounds intriguing, I like it."

Agatha smiled softly and kissed her Mistress.

"I have noticed..." Joon commented, "I am a much better musician since you began 'improving' us."

Agatha smiled softly.

Joon continued, "Are you making those kinds of changes to all of us, improving our skills as well?"

Agatha nodded.

Joon gazed deeply into Agatha's magnificent eyes. "You are a goddess, and you chose to be with us... I love you, Agatha."

They kissed again, Joon cuddled in close and sighed happily.

Agatha purred. "Astrid needs your input on the holo-vid." Agatha softly said.

Joon slowly released Agatha from the embrace, "Oooh kay... Let's go see her then."

The two got up and Joon immediately went to the bathroom, did her business, and washed. Agatha followed the routine with her, she knew Joon enjoyed having a constant companion.

They dressed together; they both wore BDU's

When they arrived at Engineering, they found Astrid and Samira snogging. Joon and Agatha watched them for a bit. They looked very good together, and Joon said as much.

Astrid colored slightly, "I really like Sam."

Samira smirked, "The feeling is mutual, now show Joon what you've accomplished."

Everyone giggled and Astrid brought up the composite performance. "I was able to retain the quality at or above eight kay definition." the Engineer explained.

Joon nodded as she watched her performance... She had to admit, it was mesmerizing. "How close is it to complete?" She asked.

Astrid turned, "If you like it, then it's complete."

Joon beamed, "Please send a copy to Zess with my compliments."

"Yes, M'lady." Astrid bobbed a cute curtsy.

Joon nodded, then looked around at the assembly. "I don't know about anyone else, but I could just murder a cup."

Max and Paula strolled into the Mess. It was quite full of family, and their arrival filled the list. Paula's arm was laced into Max's as she was escorted to the open seat next to Vika.

Max walked around to her usual seat beside Joon. Joon smiled at her towering first wife, then returned to Astrid and finished her thought. "It is something we can all consider; Agatha swears there will be no drawbacks."

Agatha, who was setting tea for the late arrivals, nodded to Astrid and the platinum-blonde Engineer glanced around the table.

Max blinked, "What's this then?"

Astrid answered, "Agatha says she can install Dauzakai wetware into any of us, without any downtime or drawbacks."

Max's jaw dropped, shifting her eyes to Agatha, "Really?"

Agatha nodded, "Just a restful night's sleep and I can have it in place, with all the support hardware."

Paula's eyes went wide. Normally, installation of cybernetic wetware was a delicate and invasive procedure involving many days or weeks of recovery. Vika looked thoughtful, her lips pursed and Max and Joon shared a raised eyebrow.

Samira smirked at the reactions around the table, "I would be interested, but I already have wetware."

Astrid observed the luke-warm reception of Agatha's offer.

"I would have gotten wetware when I was in school, but my mother forbade it." Astrid confessed softly. Astrid took a deep breath glancing at Samira. "Now I want as much wetware as I can get... I'm going to be a Mage!"

There was a collective gasp as everyone stared at Astrid. Joon leaned forward garnering Astrid's attention, "Are you sure, Asa-chan?"

Samira smiled, "She's sure."

Astrid glanced at Samira, then refocused on her XO. "I am very sure."

She tapped her forehead, "I want Agatha to cram as much wetware as she can in here."

Joon's eyebrows rose, Vika just nodded.

Max narrowed her eyes, "Why so much?"

"It's pretty simple," Astrid replied, "I'm never going to be more than an Engineer physically. I'm not good with small arms, my melee is way more dancing than any kind of fighting. But with wetware, I can contribute in a major support role." Astrid grinned with an evil look, "With drones."

Samira proudly admired Astrid, "That's what she meant by Mage."

Joon and Max waited for Samira to explain. "Mage is traditionally a pet class." Samira smiled. "Everything from Necromancers to Elemental Conjurors, they are all a type of Mage. They summon or conjure various types of creatures or constructs to fight for them." Samira continued. "Astrid wants to be a Dronemancer."

Astrid smiled at the term and rattled off her own diatribe. "I can already customize drones to do anything and everything I want," Astrid explained. "With wetware I will be able to pilot them with infinitely more skill than any holo-interface would ever allow...With more wetware, I can pilot more of them."

Samira nodded in agreement.

"Wow, " Max reacted, "That sounds amazing."

Joon smirked, "Agatha, how many sets did we order?"

"Five, Mistress." Agatha reported dutifully.

Joon raised an eyebrow at Astrid, "Is five enough to start with?"

Astrid blinked, "I... I don't know."

She looked to Agatha, "Will five fit?"

Agatha smiled, "I can adjust you to accommodate them."

Astrid blinked, then smiled, "Yea, I guess you can."

She cupped her own breasts proudly.

Vika explained the upgrades Astrid already deployed to Paula and everyone giggled.

After a few moments Joon cleared her throat, everyone paid her due attention. "Since we are all here, and we have caffeine, let me take this opportunity to make this an official family meeting. Our beloved Captain-wife has the floor." Joon smirked.

Max nodded and glanced around at the beautiful faces. "We are due to depart soon." Max said softly. A soft chorus of 'awws' emanated.

"I know, but we need to actually upload to the home office once in a while, and that brings me to the first order of business." Max made an unpleasant face. "What exactly should we tell them?" Max raised an eyebrow and continued. "We have information that is far in excess of our mission parameters, and I would argue, information that would be of a great detriment to our family if it got out."

Max sighed, "I wish we didn't have to consider watching our backs, but we do."

Joon and Max shared a look, then Max continued. "So, here's the rub, we go over our data in meticulous and comprehensive fashion, with Agatha's assistance. Anything that might lead to adverse effects on our family, or our close allies, we omit." Max nodded to Paula, "We can discuss anything here, we all have a voice. Any questions, or comments?" The captain asked, there was no response.

"Go ahead, Agatha" Max nodded to her to begin.

Agatha stood, "I want to thank all of you for trusting in me and for accepting me."

Everyone smiled at their most exotic spouse.

"If anyone needs any more detail than I convey, please let me know. I have divided the data gathered after last upload into twenty-four categories..." Agatha brought up a holo-screen off her datapad, showing the classifications of data, the volume, and the closeness some of the subject matters came to revealing a myriad of sensitive information.

Paula was amazed, she knew some of the data concerned Agatha, but she had no idea of the sheer volume.

"Let's start chronologically." Max requested.

The data rearranged.

"Oh..." Samira frowned, "All the technical and combat data to the ill-fated end of the Coldtracks." Astrid held one of Samira's left hands. Samira smiled at Astrid briefly then changed her focus to Max, "I think reporting on that ship specifically will bring no good to anyone."

Max nodded, "I agree."

Everyone nodded.

Agatha nodded, "Data omitted."

"Next we have..." The next information category involved the broad and specific combat profiles of Dauzakai drones, and the doctrine used for them, specifically the types encountered on Miku's recovery mission, Security, Combat and Battle classes. Further information through data mining suggested a War class drone existed as well.

Paula raised concern as to the specifics of the mission. Agatha was able to answer Paula's questions as she led that mission. Paula looked very impressed with Agatha's answers, and with Max for delegating authority.

"I think in this particular case, we can err in TFNI's favor." Max commented.

No one disagreed and the cache of data was voted through.

That was repeated for Dau's holo-net and cyber-net capability, showing massive capacity in data and processing power. "The T-Fed needs to realize the Dauzakai are not a primitive backwater culture." Max commented.

"You are correct," Paula commented, "The Dauzakai are a contemporary backwater culture."

Joon shared a look with Max.

"Am I wrong?" Paula blinked, "They have no colonies, they are a vulnerable single system culture."

"You are not wrong, Paula..." Max turned to Agatha with a nod.

The next section of Intel concerned the Dauzakai genetic breeding program, introducing hermaphroditic Dauzakai for colonization purposes. Paula's reaction was understandable, and it meant they had to include the summary of the program into the upload. "This legitimizes them for interstellar consideration, as allies and for trade." Paula concluded.

No one could disagree, they hoped the T-Fed would see the Dauzakai as allies and not a threat.

Joon noticed Agatha stare off into space, "What is it, Sweetheart?"

Agatha smiled, "Ambassador Zess is very pleased with the 'Official Dauzakai Holo-vid Performance of The Exquisite Lady Jooniper Smith'. She says there are half a dozen 'Bootleg' versions, however the Dauzakai Government shall only utilize the version you supplied." Agatha finished with a smile.

"Please let her know I will be over as soon as I can." Joon nodded to Agatha, "Please, continue."

Agatha broached the subject of the Lyra Kepler system alteration. Paula listened intently; she had heard a few hints of this already. Agatha began a summary of the Starchild made cosmic laboratory, called Dau. The two data recording systems in place, the Dauchazi and the Daurazu.

Data from the initiative was 346ZB, more than eight hundred times the capacity the Deirdre's systems could store — the review containing only a brief summary. She then added the Bolon connection and the rise of the Dauzakai to current maturity.

The summary took twenty minutes.

Paula sat stunned; she was having difficulty with the scale of what Agatha reported. When she recovered Paula recommended the Terran Federation should never learn of this, especially not from them. Paula explained that humanity would find a way to take advantage of Dau, and knowledge of Starchild would only cause irrational fear.

No one could argue with Paula's assessment.

Joon nodded to Agatha, "Well done dear."

Agatha curtsied then sat.

Max then asked, "Does anyone have anything else?"

No one answered.

"This meeting is adjourned." Max sipped her tea.

The two Ambassadors sat together in their usual spots in the couch pit. They were having tea together and chatting about family. To Joon, it felt different this time. Two Hands of Agatha had descended the ornate stairs with her. They would both be staying on Dau.

One of them carried a specific plainly crafted antique Dauzakai chair. "Are you sure she won't be any trouble?" Joon inquired around a sip of tea.

Zess tilted her head, "Of coursse sshe won't, I sshall look after her like my own ssisster." The Dauzakai Ambassador glanced at the 'special' chair, now in a place of honor in her home.

They sipped the delicious tea reflecting on recent events. Joon peered at Zess, "I wanted to ask about your neighbors."

"My neighborss?" Zess blinked, "Oh... you mean interssteller."

Joon nodded and smiled, "I would like to continue my tour."

Zess looked thoughtful, "Dau iss in a little corner of the ME, Sstaverka iss more centered." The Dauzakai Ambassador tapped her coms table awake, a few more taps brought up a little star chart. "In between Dau and Sstaverks iss a major Bract depot and the Nethrilla Ssyndicate with their huge Ornalith population."

Joon nodded, "I thought Ornalith were everywhere?"

"They totally are, a few have even moved to Dau." Zess smirked, "Musst be nice to have sso many placess perfectly ssutable to your physsiology."

Joon smiled, "Any suggestions?"

Zess seemed to think about it, "My perssonal impresssionss asside?"

"No actually," Joon smirked, "I was rather hoping for them."

"Ah... I ssee." Zess smiled, her expression was thoughtful.

"Thesse then are my persssonal impresssionss... pleasse don't take them ass any kind of sstandard everyone is different afterall." Zess paused, "That ssaid..."

"Yelneg are volatile and manipulative, they have political uprissing every decade or sso, and they are due."

"Ca'tagri are eassily offended and collect grudgess, every tribe iss a bundle of ego jusst waiting for ssomeone to pisss them off.

"Ass much I love them, Bolon can be rather asssuming, even though they are exceedingly polite, I imagine Agatha would like to meet with them."

Zess and Joon shared a smile then she continued.

"Sskerawk love being the center of attention. If they think you are impresssed by them, they will cater to you."

"Ornalith like having fun, whether it's playing gamess, dancing or just getting inebriated, they are very good workers, but they covet their free time."

"Nethrilla value a good converssation, mosst of them are very intelligent but are terribly sshy, get them to open up in discusssion and you might have a friend for life."

"Qiat adore ceremony, they are not particularly religiouss, but they have a little ritual for everything, ass long ass you realisse that, they won't sseem sso irritating.

"Bract appear devoted to datawork, contractss and numberss... but I honesstly don't know them well enough, they don't explain their actionss or motivation beyond commerce."

"Elmoq think everything out carefully, they have a deliberate and dedicated manner, it can ssometimess take a while for them to do anything."

"Thruume are quiet, thoughtfull and suprisingly agile thinkers, they are just learning about being among the sstarss."

Zess finished with a nod.

"Pleasse don't tell anyone, I am ssupossed to be unbiassed."

Joon nodded, "Don't worry, I won't get you in trouble."

They shared a giggle.

"So, what are your personal impressions of Terrans?" Joon inquired.

Zess grew quiet, she leveled her iridescent eyes on Joon, "Capable and deadly."

Joon didn't react but thought about that answer.

"We've never discussed the Summit..." Joon studied the reaction of her dear friend.

Zess slowly shook her head, she seemed to drift off to somewhere else for a moment. "I had never been sso frightened for sso long in my life, I felt my ssanity sslipping away. Crinx wass my rock to cling to, I didn't think Sslarmians could be sso fearlesss." Zess took a deep breath, "Let me sstart from the begining..."

"When I learned what then Chancellor Nisskera had planned, I gathered the besst sstaff I could asssemble. My first caretaker Vutii wass by my sside. It wass insspriring... jusst the idea of it, forming a new Galactic League with the Trankaranss."

The Dauzakai Ambassador pouted.

"Nisskera honored uss all with that oppertunity, but... It began too late. Unaware of how closse the danger wass, the Chancellor sstarted the Ssummit just as the Kirrix sset upon Khalgron without warning, sso quickly and in asstonishing numberss."

"Valiant Trankaranss with their heavy sshipss kept them at bay long enough for the Ambassadorss to get to sshelter in the fortresss. None of the sstaffss made it there, not one ssurvived."

Zess paused, wiping tears.

"I wass devisstated... I wass an empty sshell, unable to do anything but breathe. Crinx sshowed ssuch empathy, I found mysself being comforted in hiss four armss. He brought me back from the edge, Crinx helped me endure what wass to come."

"The fortresss wass one long nightmare, all we could do wass sstay behind the Trankaranss and watch them die... picked off, one by one. To her credit, Nisskera was tirelesss in her effortss, but all too ssoon even her sspirit wass wearing thin."

"Then the Lion arrived with his Lionesssess... Like heroic championss from a sstory. John Blake changed everything, he got uss motivated and revitalized the Chancellor."

"Then we witnessed the Power of the Lion, it wass abssolutely shocking."

"The Lionesssess pressent didn't even react to his show of sstrength, and together they eassily cleared a path through the sseige. The Terranss led uss with the Trankaranss guarding uss into the tunnelss...I could not have imagined combat of that level of sskill, thosse weaponss, that coordination."

"A brutal sslog through endlesss wavess of Kirrix, our resscuerss led uss to ssafety. John Blake came and saved uss, all of uss... He delivered uss from a certain death."

Joon bit her lip, "I know of the alliance the ME has with the Lion...The Terran Federation could never understand that kind of commitment."

Zess gazed into Joons eyes, "No, they couldn't... We owe the Lion and his Lionesssess a perssonal debt we could never repay.

"John Blake said he would protect uss, he asked only that we contribute what we could to Trankaran forces against the Kirrix."

"The first Dauzakai warship is with them right now." Zess looked down.

The Dauzakai Ambassador suddenly looked vulnerable or embarrassed.

Joon frowned, "It's okay Zess, I understand."

"My dear Joon, you don't...I wass ssuffering from the sstresss of the Ssummit and I behaved... Poorly. Being completely enamored by the Lion, I acted like a hyperactive child." Zess pouted. "Lionesss Alysssa wass extremely patient with me... I will never forget her kindnesss."

Joon held Zess's hand.

"I am not diminishing what your family has done for Dau, dear Joon. But being in the pressence of a Greater Power was overwhelming."

Joon listened intently, she nodded, "You think John Blake is a Greater Power?"

Zess nodded slowly, "Yess, I do... Sso did every Ambasssador attending the Ssummit. It wass quite obviouss and we happily sswore allegiance to him."

Joon swallowed, then nodded. " I think he is too... so are the Lionesses."

Zess pulled Joon into a hug.

"Thank you, for sharing with me," Joon smiled compassionately.

Zess nodded, "We sseem to live in an age of heroess... a time of Powerss."

"Your family iss gifted, perhapss a Lessser Power, I am glad we are friendss."

Joon looked into Zess's eyes, "I'm glad too, if you need us for anything, just ask Agatha."

"I am deeply honored you recounted these memories with me." Joon smiled softly.

Zess nodded, "Thank you for lisstening, but your time here drawss to a closse."

Joon nodded, "Sadly true... I hope to return soon."

Zess and Joon stood together and walked to the foyer.

"Have you decided where you are going?" Zess peered at Joon.

Joon giggled softly, "No, not yet...I'll have Agatha keep you informed."

The Dauzakai Ambassador stopped at the open entrance, " I heard about the wetware you requessted, I decided to embellish the order."

Joon blinked, "Oh, you didn't have to do that."

Zess nodded, "I know, but if I can't sspoil my friendss, who can I sspoil?"

Joon giggled.

"Take care of yourself, Sweetheart... " Joon hugged Zess a final time.

They shared a smile, and Joon climbed the beautiful ornately carved stairwell.

Max blinked and looked at Nomissa and Miku. She was at the top of the cargo ramp looking down towards the two Dauzakai who were standing next to half a dozen crates of impressive size.

They had just been delivered by a small fleet of Transport drones.

"Are you sure this is for us?" The Terran Captain inquired with a puzzled look.

Nomissa gave a sly grin, "When I got approval for your cybernetic request, her Excellency decided you needed these, alsso."

Miku knelt next to one of two large sized crates, almost three meters long, a meter and a half wide and a meter tall.

"Thesse sstorage cratess have cyclicss," Miku said and smiled, tapping the cyclics on. The large crate hummed softly then shifted slightly, it hovered mere centimeters above the grotto's smooth rock surface.

Max blinked, "What are they?"

Nomissa tapped in the security code and the large crate unlocked.

Max opened it to reveal...

"DRONES!" Astrid squealed in glee, as she leapt down the ramp.

The satiny non-reflective bronze housing of a hover-bike sized battle-drone lay in a reinforced cradle built into the crate. There was all manner of materiel in the partitioned spaces surrounding the drone.

Astrid made a 'squee' noise and stood over the open crate and Miku giggled.

Nomissa had been carrying a small case herself, she waved Astrid over and layed it on top of a stationary crate.

She opened the case; it had a form-fitted interior and displayed a series of hermetically packaged crystalline molecular circuitry. "There are five full wetware kitss in this casse, elite-grade Dau Caretaker rigss... Our besst gear, I usse one mysself." Nomissa explained to Astrid.

Astrid listened with huge eyes and nodded while biting her lower lip.

Nomissa closed the case and gave it to Astrid.

The Caretaker then turned to Max nodding to the large open crate, "The Ambasssador ssigned off on a pair of light battle-droness, three combat-droness, and five ssecurity-droness."

Max looked uneasy, "I don't know what to say..."

Nomissa smiled, leaned closer and softly said to Max "There are no markingss or sserial numberss on any of it."

Max's eyes grew large.

"We have 'Sspecial' unitss alsso." Nomissa winked at Max.

Max bowed to Nomissa and Nomissa returned that bow. "Thank you again for inssissting I join the misssion to resscue thiss one." Nomissa grabbed a small handful of Miku's blouse.

"Anytime, Nomissa." Max smiled softly.

Miku shared an exaggerated look with Nomissa, "Just hug her already."

Nomissa blinked and looked at Max. Max didn't hesitate; she gave the short Caretaker a heartfelt hug. When they broke apart, Miku immediately went in for her own hug with Max.

The taller Dauzakai pulled back from the hug, "I hope we ssee you again ssoon, I want to have more fun on the range."

Max nodded, "It's a date."

Everyone giggled.

"Holy Shit!" Joon exclaimed.

Everyone turned towards Joons voice. The Terran Ambassador walked over from the stairwell, staring at the collection of crates. "What the hell are they?" Joon leveled her eyes at Max.

"DRONES!" Astrid yelled again with gusto!

Max and Joon shared a smile while Miku and Nomissa chuckled again at Astrid.

Joon shook a finger at Astrid, "I hope you appreciate all of this Asa-chan!"

"I do, I do, I do! I promise! This is so awesome!" The Engineer rapidly bounced on her toes, clapping her hands together.

Miku and Nomissa both bowed to Joon as she drew closer. "We hope your travelss will ssafely bring you back home to uss." Nommisa said with a smile.

Joon, without ceremony, walked up and hugged Nomissa, who stiffened momentarily but then relaxed and hugged her back. Joon did not break from the hug but looked Nomissa in the eye, "Please look after things around here... Take care of our family."

The veteran Caretaker was suddenly blinking back tears, "Yess, your Excellency."

Joon nodded with a knowing smile. "Nomissa... You have a place in my heart."

Nomissa inhaled suddenly, but kept her bearing, "Thank you, Exquissite Lady."

Joon glanced up at Miku, then winked at Nomissa.

Nomissa smiled.

Joon shifted her attention to the 220cm yellow scaled Dauzakai with the black racing stripes. She opened her arms in invitation, Miku knelt and carefully embraced the petite Terran Ambassador. They broke apart sharing a smile. "You'll mind Zess for me, won't you?" Joon looked into Miku's large green iridescent eyes.

Miku nodded, "Ass much ass sshe will let me, Excellency."

Joon smirked, "She may need smooches."

"Uh..." Miku stumbled, her eyes dilated "I will do my besst."

Joon grinned. "Good."

Miku shared a grin with her.

Joon turned and peered at Astrid who had turned away from the farewell, her curiosity dragged her attention back to the large open crate, where she ferociously studied the contents. "Are you going to play with your new toys out here... or can we put them on board so we can depart?"

Astrid giggled resealing the crate, she hand-carried the small case Nomissa had given her.

Max and Astrid started maneuvering the Self-contained Drone Storage Units into the cargo bay of the tiny warship. Nomissa and Miku chose to stand by the stairwell and watch their Terran family depart.

It was obvious that Nomissa had taken a personal interest in Miku's life.

Her new friendships and having a home of her own made Miku much happier. Agatha intended to keep an eye on everyone in their extended family.

After some careful repositioning, Max was satisfied with the lay of the cargo and she then went to the open doorway and waved farewell to Nomissa and Miku standing at the landing of the ornate stairwell.

Her Dauzakai sisters waved back as Max thumbed the DNA lock and the door closed.

The Deirdre departed Sakima-sadi-Misimi without fanfare. The Terran corvette broke the atmosphere, angling its trajectory past Hssketh station. Dau ATC bid them farewell and safe travels as the Deirdre's velocity opened up.

Agatha chose a nearby destination and slipped into hyper-warp at the edge of the system. Dame Captain Max Anders sat on the broad command couch. She listened to Agatha's proposed protocol for hindering anyone tracking their course.

Agatha had three Hands on the bridge, one at the Helm, one at Navigation. A third Hand was curled up in Max's lap, her head resting on her Captain-wife's chest explaining the short series of course changes involved in the protocol.

Max nodded, "That sounds like a plan, how long will it take?"

"Approximately two hours, Captain." Agatha replied.

"Do you have a spot picked out for the upload?" Max asked.

Agatha replied, "Not yet, but I will."

Max pursed her lips, "What's the take look like right now?"

"Twenty hours." She said.

Max nodded, "And that's trimmed down?"

"Yes," Agatha affirmed.

Max smiled and laid her hand on Agatha's head and gave her exotic wife skritchens.

Agatha closed her eyes and purred.

Astrid giggled to herself. She was half in and half out of the large crate containing a light Dauzakai Battle-drone. There were six Self-contained Drone Storage Units, the two largest of them would not fit into ship storage, so Astrid was in the cargo bay with her datapad, giggling excitedly.

She wasn't alone in the bay...Vika and Samira were there as well. Samira was tutoring Vika on unarmed melee techniques. Vika was tutoring Samira on the basics of the Slarmian language. While the skill exchange was occurring the two women would occasionally comment on their Engineer and the state of her sanity.

"I think she is a little bonkers," Samira commented and smiled.

Vika shrugged, "All of us are."

Samira thought about that and nodded, "You're probably right."

Vika went over conjugating verbs in Slarmian.

"Helping we need please now." Samira said in Slarmian.

Vika nodded, "Close... Almost there."

Astrid's giggles echoed through the hold. Vika and Samira glanced over, Astrid's feet were sticking out of the crate.

"Bonkers." they both said quietly, then shared a smile.

"And here... And one more here." Paula directed Joon's attention for her imprint.

Joon looked up at her Diplomatic Attaché, "How long did it take you to get so good at this?"

Paula smiled at the stunning petite woman, "Only about a decade."

Joon rolled her eyes.

Paula giggled, "This incident at the Staverka Consulate isn't a common occurrence."

"I am just disheartened at how much data work is involved." Joon replied, with a slight frown.

Paula returned to her own desk, about a meter from Joon's.

"This is only round one, just wait until the Foreign Office sends priority update requests." Paula smirked.

Joon grimaced, "That sounds completely unpleasant."

Paula nodded, "It is, I'll handle the brunt of it."

Joon gave Paula an enamored look, "Thank you so much, I am so glad Vika found you!"

"I'm not a little lost kitten," Paula looked up for a second, "Okay, maybe I am."

The wives shared a giggle.

Joon looked over at the voluptuous brunette. "What do you think so far?"

Paula looked away from her holoscreen to Joon.

"I think I'm deep in the darkest forest, inside a tiny little cottage, hoping I don't need to go outside for anything."

Joon nodded, "I think it will get better real soon."

Paula returned to her data work.

"How was the blowjob?" Joon asked with a sly smile.

Paula coughed in surprise, then nodded licking her lips, "it was fine... M'lady.'

"Don't go all 'M'lady' on me, we're married now, I want honest opinions." Joon giggled.

Paula nodded, "Okay, I'll do my best... I was a nervous wreck, but she settled me down. I was surprised I was able to make the Captain cum. And... That stuff tastes 'Amazing'."

Joon and Paula shared a smile.

"I am glad you like it; you'll need to stay on smoothie detail for a few days." Joon grinned at Paula's reaction.

The older woman bit her lip, a smile played at the corners of her mouth, "I hope the Captain doesn't mind."

"I'm pretty sure Max will be okay with it." Joon's grin was suggestive.

Joon studied Paula, her jawline, her hair.

Paula glanced at her, Joon bit her lip and raised an eyebrow.

"Uh..." Paula swallowed.

Joon smiled, "Yes, I am flirting with my new bride. I was hoping she might be interested in doing more than data work with me..."

Paula blinked in surprise, "What would you like me to do?"

Joon smiled softly, "Well... You were able to please your Captain, I was wondering if you'd like to please your Ambassador next?"

Paula turned to face Joon, the petite woman pulled up the hem of her skirt, revealing that she was without panties and hairless.

The Lieutenant stared openly at Joon's thin legs and the tiny peach cleft between them. Paula eased out of her chair onto her knees, she leaned forward onto her hands placing her face close enough to smell Joon's sweet scent.

Joon slid down in her chair, lifting her legs above herself holding them with her hands.

Paula's focus kept going from Joon's grass-green eyes to the apricot lips now on display. Joon moaned as Paula kissed her sex, then again, then deeply. The Lieutenant worked her mouth and tongue trying to get all the sweet citrusy taste.

Joon watched the dazzling mis-matched eyes gazing at her half-lidded, feeling those lips and tongue exploring her pussy, savoring her flavor. Paula wasn't sure she was proficient enough, but she thought she should try.

She brought up the two fingers of her right hand, just as Vika had done, and she put them in her own mouth. Paula never took her eyes off of Joon, she pulled out her now slick fingers and gently pushed them into her Ambassador.

Joon's little vagina gripped Paula's fingers, letting the woman penetrate her only a little at a time.

"Uh huh..." Joon gasped, "Yea... just like that."

Joon's Attaché gently worked her Ambassador, developing a slow steady rhythm. She carefully finger-fucked her petite wife for a good long while, slowly increasing the tempo. Paula leaned back down and sucked gently at Joon exposed clitoris, watching her expressions.

"Nnng," Joon moaned, her eyes screwed shut, "Okay, okay, stop, stop, stop!"

Paula stopped: she was blinking in confusion; she sat on her knees and pulled the two fingers out of her Lady-wife. "What's wrong, did I hurt you?" Paula's concern was written all over her face.

Joon smiled, and slowly eased herself back into a sitting posture.

"Not at all my Lovely... you are wearing a nice clean and dry uniform, and I was about to change that." Joon grinned.

Paula's jaw dropped, "Oh... Oh my!"

They both giggled.

"I intend to have you finish me off later...in the shower." Joon beamed a smile.

Paula nodded, licking her lips, "I look forward to it, M'lady."

They both giggled again as they sat back in their chairs...

Joon and Paula returned to their respective screens still reading and imprinting datawork that comes with running one Consulate and setting up a second.

"So... Commando all the time?" Paula softly inquired with a raised eyebrow.

Joon beamed a smile but did not turn away from her screen. "Uh huh."

"Nice." Paula responded.

Every once in a while, they would give each other naughty looks then giggle in tandem.

The Deirdre slipped out of hyper-warp in a very small system a dozen lightyears from the last one Agatha had chosen which was closer still to the one before. This rapid hyper-warp route was the transteller equivalent of zig-zagging and back tracking. There wasn't much to recommend the system but a few small rocks, which is exactly why Agatha came here.

So, the Deirdre cozied up to one of those frozen rocks and got herself comfortable for a while.

Max blinked, "We're ready?"

Agatha nodded, she was standing in front of Max, "Yes, Captain... We are ready."

Max nodded, "What's the Zulu?"

"It is seventeen thirty-eight Terran Mean Time, Captain." Agatha replied smartly.

Max looked at her service comwatch, adjusted the display and contemplated a few things.

Uncle Goat a.k.a. Command Sergeant Major Irasmus Boggs was currently the NCOIC of Naval Intelligence. Her old Sar-Major was positively ancient, with seven 'Time in Service' chevrons.

Max had absolutely no idea what kind of responsibilities came with that job, but she knew Goat would fulfill them. On top of all of that, he was the architect of and handler for Operation: Melinoe. Supposedly only he and Admiral Garbert-Smythe knew about the operation...

But a lot had happened in the past week or so. Instead of keeping a low profile, Max's wife, Ira's grandniece... A highly respected musician and holo-celebrity, Jooniper Smith, found herself a new Job.

There was a suspicion in the back of Max's mind that the Admiral in charge of the Department of Foreign Relations didn't know exactly what they were getting themselves into with 'The Exquisite Lady'. Max glanced at her comwatch again.

"Agatha?" Max inquired.

Agatha got up from Navigation and came to attention in front of Max, "Yes, Captain."

"Go ahead and bring up the hyper-link, and please ready the intel take for upload" Max smiled at Agatha.

"Hyper-link deployed, establishing connection, upload standing by." Agatha confirmed.

"We are ready to transmit our upload to TFNI data control at your command, Captain."

Max took a deep breath, she tapped out the server route and passcodes for Dark Corners. She logged in...

Ms_Muffit has entered dark corners.

BG_Gruff: Anders...

Max turned Ms_Muffit to see Bogg's Avatar.

Ms_Muffit: Boggs.

BG_Gruff: Status?

Ms_Muffit: Free and Clear.

BG_Gruff: I assume you know about our GSD Consulate.

BG_Gruff has left dark corners.

Ms_Muffit has left dark corners.

Max exhaled.

"Joon is gonna hate this." Max sighed.

Joon blinked.

"What the hell does that mean?" Joon asked with a volatile expression.

The family was gathered in the Mess, Agatha was serving a scrumptious dinner. Roasted Giant Prawn With Broccoli Served with Citrus Vinaigrette, Pasta Salad With Spinach, Chickpeas, and Tahini, and Bacon Tomato and Swiss Frittatas.

Max held Joon's hands gently calming her, "It's alright, we'll discuss it after dinner."

Joon pursed her lips but did not argue. The three established couples all sat together; Agatha had three Hands buffer them.

The happy sounds during the meal was like music to Agatha's ears. Everyone enjoyed the meal, and after thirty minutes they were quite satisfied. Agatha cleared the table, replacing the ruins of dinner with lemon tea cakes, and cups of tea or coffee according to preference.

Vika accepted tea and sipped sparingly from it.

Joon focused on Max, "Now can I ask?"

Max nodded.

"What the hell does that mean?" Joon asked, with a slightly less volatile expression.

Max smirked, "I am not exactly sure, my love, I can only guess."

Joon raised an eyebrow.

Max nodded, "I postulate that the Admiral who runs The Department of Foreign Affairs suspects Admiral Garbert-Smythe is not being entirely honest with them.

Joon's lips thinned, "So I have to prove to this..."

Joon paused and looked at Agatha.

"Admiral Eleanor Maybridge." Agatha reported clearly.

"Prove to Maybridge that I am a Diplomat?" Joon finished her question with a huff.

Max arched an eyebrow, "I think that if anyone can show her that... It's The Exquisite Lady Jooniper."

Paula raised a hand.

Joon smirked and nodded.

"Admiral Maybridge has led the 'Foreign Office' for almost twenty years." Paula started.

"She has the reputation of being patient, fair and very capable."

Joon thought about that and sipped her tea.

Agatha glanced at Max,
*Max, would it be okay if I increased my numbers?*

Max shifted her eyes to her,
*Of course it's okay, how many are you planning?*

*Plus five.*
Agatha smiled.

Max nodded,
*Go right ahead, sweetheart.*

*Thank you, Honey.*

Joon inhaled, "Alright... We can guess Hamilton most likely pulled a few strings to get me appointed. And if what Max suspects is true, this Maybridge probably doesn't like him very much."

Paula smiled, "I think you'll be just fine, M'lady."

Joon blinked, then smiled, "Thank you... But tell me why you think so?"

Paula inhaled, "I have seen plenty of Diplomats and a fair number of those officers were hacks. You, on the other hand, have presence, integrity, and a great deal of charm."

Joon's cheeks colored slightly.

"Thank you... Again." Joon smiled.

Paula looked down, she stared at nothing, her eyes seemed to glaze over. Agatha's three Hands raised an eyebrow shifting focus to Paula. Everyone noticed the abrupt change in Paula's mood.

Joon glanced at Agatha,
*What's wrong?*

*She is feeling intense guilt over something.*

"Paula?" Joon called her name.

The Lieutenant looked up, there was a sheen of unshed tears across her mismatched eyes. "Sorry, just ruminating."

Joon held Paula's attention, "You can tell us anything."

Silent nods around the table affirmed that position.

"I...I was thinking how someone as moral as you deserves to be anything she wishes."

Joon gave Paula an endearing look, "You're a moral person too, you deserve to be here."

Paula glanced around the table, then looked at Vika.

"I...Was destined to be here." She shifted her focus back to Joon, glancing at Max.

"But I am not a moral person." Paula said, a single tear slid down her cheek.

Vika held her hand.

Astrid watched Paula's face, biting her lip.

Samira frowned slightly.

"Tell us why you think that." Joon gently enjoined.

Paula swallowed hard, "Because I murdered my commanding officer."

Agatha sat with Teffa who was laid out on the couch in the common room.

They had three holo-screens up trying to follow the events taking place in Staverka...pretty much all over the planet.

The entire home fleet, near a hundred capital ships, were in orbit above the region of Hybinus. Zalix the Eighth, Majestic Potentate of the Grand Slarmian Dynasty, decreed Staverka sealed. For the first time in its two hundred thirty-year history, the Slarmian Bazaar was closed. Almost two thousand Bazaar Parking Authority Frigates blockaded their own planet.

No ship was allowed in... or especially, out.

Teffa laid her head on Agatha's shoulder, tears rolled down her snout.

Agatha comforted her. Evidently, the Staverka Police Inspector Yzix's report did not fall on deaf ears. To his surprise, Polkovnik Emuzi did much more than initiate a restricted exigent ministerial assembly.

She went Straight to Zalix and in less than an hour the planet was locked down with the full weight of the Dynasty brought to bear.

Agatha and Teffa watched on live holo-vid as every Lord of Hybinul was arrested...with one notable exception. The staunchly conservative but definitively loyal to the Dynasty, Lord Arbox.

Forty-five lords, one hundred and ninety-seven elected members of Parliament. A third of the lords and a quarter of the commons...were taken into custody.

There were quiet speculations in the media, but no one said anything with certainty. Staverka Police Commissioner Umix did make a brief statement saying, "There was a planetary investigation and there would be no public announcements on it."

Three hours after the initial planetary lockdown, the Bazaar was reopened.

The table was silent. Tears were streaming down Paula's face, but her expression did not change. Max and Joon shared a glance.

"Please, Paula," Joon pleaded softly, "Tell us what happened."

Paula nodded, she swallowed hard, took a deep breath, and began. "Before Commander Tavistock took command of Megara Station after Commander Xiao was promoted to Captain. Megara station briefly had another commander."

"His name was Weiss."

"I expected a few weeks of adjustment to his command style, but he didn't change a thing. The station continued under all of Xiao's protocols, and Weiss just followed that momentum. I noticed the new Commander spent very little time in the TFN offices."

"He apparently had chosen a pair of young female TFN staffers to spend his time with."

"How an officer spends their off-duty time is no one's business and the two young ladies were already friends before Weiss took command; they were Second Lieutenants Lori Nance and Tabitha Chen."

"They now seemed to live in the Commander's quarters but after three weeks only rarely was one or the other seen without Weiss. Weiss himself felt off to me, his face was too perfect, he always said the right thing. His eyes were cold, like those of a shark, no expression he made would change them. Well, after five weeks Nance was admitted to Medical, she was covered in bruising."

"Most of her injuries were in various stages of healing, she had gotten some of them weeks earlier. She was admitted for a skull fracture, Chen had walked her down to medical. They both said she had slipped and fell, clumsy... Both were terrified."

"There is a kind of person who makes an effort to own something beautiful... Just so they can break it. Weiss was that kind of person. I had trained both Nance and Chen in their positions. They were both solid officers, competent and dependable."

"Now they were cowed and beaten, little more than playthings to Weiss. The next day I was sitting at one of the rail tables of a food shop, having a cup: it was a good place to people watch, I went there often after shift. Two levels down I saw Commander Weiss coming out of the trading depot, he was walking quickly."

"So, I pulled every ounce of fortune from him..."

"In three seconds, his boot stuck on something at the edge of a ramp. He catapulted flailing wildly down the ramp several meters into the edge of a solid rubbish bin. His face was crushed in, a very unlucky angle, he died almost instantly...or so they say."

"I watched him flop around for almost thirty seconds, still pulling fortune away from him the entire time." Paula finished, no longer crying, her mismatched eyes showed her fury from long ago.

"You defended Nance and Chen." Joon said quietly.

Paual shook her head, "I could have reported him, like the dozens of people who had. He was connected, he was untouchable. The Admiralty sent him to Megara to keep him out of the Core. Commander Richard Weiss was a Legacy Officer, from a TFN Family. He was a sadistic psychopath who was allowed to use and abuse TFN personnel. I murdered that piece of shit... and I'm not sorry I did. Someone had to."

The table was silent.

Then Max leveled her light-brown eyes at Paula.

"You think that wasn't moral?"

Paula blinked.

Max smiled, "It wasn't legal...I think it was definitely moral."

The table nodded in agreement.

"Good luck proving that was murder in court." Samira smiled at Paula.

Astrid nodded at Samira.

"But I murdered him?" Paula stated again.

Joon smiled, "I think you went beyond your authority, but like you said...Someone had to."

Agatha raised her hand.

Everyone looked at her.

"Because we are connected to the TFed right now, I was able to find and review the case files of the 'accident' that brought the demise of one Commander Weiss. You are correct Paula... His history with abusing TFN personnel was extensive, and it seems very little effort went into investigating what was so obviously an accident."

"The entire sequence was recorded on security Holo-vid. There was even a frame of you, watching from a balcony table, several floors above. No one even bothered to interview you, as you were more than fifty meters above."

Max nodded to Agatha

Joon smirked, "I don't think you're going to find anyone on this ship who has a problem with your actions."

Max cleared her throat.

Everyone turned to their Captain.

"If it had not been explained to you before, Paula, I will do so now. In the course of my five years in the now defunct IntOps Division of the TFN, I had killed more than a hundred people. I didn't know them, some of them were just doing their jobs. But I am willing to bet quite a lot of them were just in the wrong place at the wrong time. I doubt most of them were as deserving of death as Weiss, but I wasn't making a moral judgement."

"I was following orders... and I am so glad I am not doing that job anymore."

Everyone nodded.

Max glanced around the table, "Anyone else want to make a confession?"

There were giggles.

Then Agatha raised her hand again.

Joon blinked. "Ag's?"

"I looked into the dreams of one of my prisoners on Staverka. I learned all of his secrets with Blackdawn."

Max and Joon shared a glance.

"Then I gave him a nightmare using my image and voice."

Everyone's faces were contemplative. Agatha felt her family, they didn't taste upset. Max brought a knuckle to her lips, her mind whirring.

"This... Dreamwalking, you can do it to anyone?" Max inquired.

Agatha nodded, "If they dream, or are really close to dreaming."

She glanced at Samira, who smiled. Max and Joon shared a meaningful look.

Vika said softly, "Longer and sharper the claws become."

Five overstuffed Hands of Agatha were now sprawled out in the shower. The entire family stripped down and cuddled to witness the magical display. Thick fluffy towels of which there were dozens were used for soft cushions.

For three hours the seven women were together, while the opalescent splendor shone.

Soft conversations, gentle affection, and lots of snogging. After the first twenty minutes Paula had lost her modesty while kissing Vika. She realized this was a waking dream party... Love and affection was everywhere.

At some point she discovered she was craving vanilla: Max was happy to oblige her.

This time there was no timidity, and it sparked the next level of intimacy for the family. Paula found there was plenty of interest in her; she was also being serviced.

Max filled her mouth five times, and each time Paula drank it down with abandon.

Paula found that the cock in her mouth was still hard, so she offered another orifice for her Captain-wife to fill.

While Max pounded Paula from behind, she sampled every flavor of wife.

Then Paula sampled Max's sopping pussy while her other wives took turns riding the Captain. When Max felt there was enough to feed Paula, she was there mouth open eyes staring up.

For three hours the crew of the Deirdre shared themselves, strengthening their bond. They then gently bathed ten Hands of Agatha, drying them, and helping them to bed.

Agatha looked down at the exceptionally full bed. Six humans, and ten Hands were cuddled together under six duvets, and twelve pillows. The last four hours was the highest level of pure affection Agatha had ever recorded.

Unsurprising, the family was strong and balanced, it felt like just the right time.

She laid the five crystalline molecular circuitry shards on Astrid's pillow.

Agatha moved to the foot of the bed and one by one looked at her human wives.

Max the Warrior...

Joon the Bard-Priest...

Astrid the Sorcerer-Mage...

Vika the Rogue-Shaman...

Samira the Paladin...

Paula the Witch...

Agatha's eyes began to sparkle in opalescence.

The large triple sized bed was soon covered in that magical splendor.

Agatha began her labor of love.
